Who We Are

Darra, owner of Prima Salon, graduated from Roman Academy in Hawthorne, NJ in 1998.  She worked in Nutley her entire career.  As a result, her clientele grew large enough that she was able to open her own beauty salon.

Darra opened her first salon, Prima Salon, a beauty salon, in the summer of 2006 after working in Nutley for 10 years.  After establishing a large clientele, Darra desired to move to a shop that would best express her work.  She found this location and transformed the interior into an atmosphere condusive to her clients expectations.
